The Piecemakers Quilting Group meets the third Tuesday of each month in the Fireside Room from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  This group will not be meeting through the summer. Each lady brings a lunch, sewing machine and basic sewing supplies.  Some women enjoy planning and coordinating fabric, others cut pieces, some enjoy sewing pieces together and while others iron. The group works on quilts for mission organizations in the Nazarene church and for local charitable groups such as Grandmas House and others as the need arises. Anyone who likes to make small quilts is welcome and encouraged to join us.

During 2008 we distributed quilts to the following organizations:

• CASA Community Hope Chest - 12 quilts
• Pilot Butte Nursing Home - 10 quilts
• Kids Center - 10 quilts
• Grandma's House - 5 quilts
• Bend Nazarene Compassionate Christmas Project - 3 quilts

In December 2009, we gave 4 quilts to Grandma's House, 7 to Kid's Center, and 7 to Harmony House.
