We believe that one of the most important ministries of the church is to the children. Here at Bend Church of the Nazarene we strive to provide our kids with an environment that will nurture and grow them in the truth of God’s Word. There are many opportunities for children to learn about Jesus in a fun and active way through the biblically-based programs we offer. Plus, children can learn to worship and honor God and love one another in the process.

Our Children's Ministry program will SPARK your child's interest to learn how to walk with God!  Worship, Bible lessons, relationships...we want to ignite your child's faith at an early age, from nursery through 4th grade.

Children's Ministry Programs

Sunday School

Sunday mornings beginning at 9 am our Sunday School program will be using "Heart Shapers" from Standard Publishing to use God's Word to shape our hearts!  Kids get a glimmer of this each Sunday to kindle their faith.

Children's Church

Kid's learn by example, so we'd love our pre k thru 4th grade kids to join us in morning Worship Service for singing, prayer, and family worship.  We then invite the kids to join us in the gym for a time that will "SPARK" their interest to learn ways to walk with Jesus from Bible and mission lessons.

Other Events

Kid's Camp, Children's Choir, Overnighters, Open Gym, and VBS are other ministries held during the year.

March 17th will be the Wearing of the Green.  This Wednesday night we will have some special activities and snacks of the green sort...bring a friend..and wear green!

March 24th from 1-3 pm we will have an open gym for kids kindergarten thru the 4th grade.

"EGGStravagnza" - Join us March 31st at 6:30 for an all-church dinner for the whole family with many eggsciting activities for the kids and teens as well as a devotional by Pastor Virgil.   Please bring a salad to share!  Main dish and dessert will be provided
